Hunterian (or York) Psalter

Glasgow University Library MS Hunter 229 (U.3.2)

Folio 21v, King David with harp, surrounded by musicians (his left hand in strange position, holding a tuning key?). Some form of keyboard instrument at his feet – organ? 2 bell players just above him. Around are Vielle player, triple pipe, another pipe, and a rebec played at knees. In two separate sections we find a psaltery and an organistrum.
